Year 7 and 8 examination week success

Well done to all of Year 7 and 8 as they complete their examination week!

For some pupils these were the first exams they have taken in years and I am so proud of our pupils for managing the week so well.  There have been some important life lessons involved; preparation and revision strategies, managing stress and energy levels as well as examination techniques.   Our tutor times will focus on reflecting on this process and setting targets as well as celebrating success.

The results will be shared with pupils in classes to give teachers the opportunity to give feedback and go through the papers.  The next set of reports for Year 7 and grades for Year 8 , published at half term, will reflect the results.

We are all looking forward to the Summer term and all that it brings, making sure to enjoy the last term of Year 7/8 as well as preparing for next year – it’s set to be a fantastic term.
